Paul DeLargy

Paul F. DeLargy is the director of Georgia REAL Enterprises with an EdD in Education an MS in Reading, and a BA in Economics. Georgia REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning) provides teachers or community instructors training for participants at all levels. REAL is not only for schools in the kindergarten through post-secondary levels, but as for after-school programs at schools, community centers and faith-based locations.

Dr. DeLargy has spent most of his career as a community developer and educator and is a founder of the REAL program. Paul's areas of expertise include educational administration, community education, rural economic development and rural education. He currently is the president of Georgia REAL Enterprises. Paul has served as a primary and elementary school principal, a high school teacher, college professor, president of National REAL and founder of the REAL and Mini-REAL programs, Georgia Community Education Association and the Southern Rural Education Association. Paul is a retiree from the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, linking education with rural economic development and with a focus on small business development.
