The Fundraising Director Position

Georgia REAL, the voluntary organization whose sole mission is to teach and encourage entrepreneurship in children of all ages, has an opening for an organized, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Fundraising Director to develop and manage relationships with major corporations and raising substantial dollars for the organization while raising awareness.

If you're tired of working for organizations that do not give back to the communities that support them and want to build lasting relationships that truly help people, then this is the position for you! Not only will you be providing an invaluable service to your community, you will be rewarded based upon the results you meet!

Responsibilities include:

• Developing relationships with volunteers, sponsors & key corporate & community leaders.
• Conducting sales calls to generate new business and manage existing companies.
• Goal setting with companies and individuals to raise funds and awareness.
• Coordinating event efforts
• Networking within the local area, and recruiting and retaining our valued volunteers.

Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of successful fund raising, marketing or outside sales, ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment and management, proven track record in meeting sales/fundraising goals. Organization, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must.

Candidates must be results driven with the ability to multi task. Candidates must also be willing and able to travel within the local area.
